“We have to be very mindful of the relationship between our words and our actions. If we say we are going to do something and then never follow through, that is a broken promise. If you never intended to follow through in the first place then it is a lie, a false truth. You can’t be mad if people do not trust you, put faith in you, or believe in you if you have continuously shown that you are an individual that doesn’t keep their word. Of course in life, some slip-ups are accepted, but the habitual act of never following through with the expectations you set for YOURSELF in front of OTHER PEOPLE is unacceptable. How do you expect to have meaningful relationships if you offer nothing more than broken promises? We ALL have learned this lesson of honesty, integrity, genuineness, and just saying what you mean and meaning what you say. If you struggle with this I encourage you to be mindful of it and take the steps to change it. If you’re already mindful of it and are conscious in this area, I encourage you to remain aware and keep improving and progressing. Your words are powerful, let’s continue to make sure they are building on your behalf and not destroying on your behalf.”
